The academy comprises three distinct entities: the Academy of Professional Development, the Academy of Plasmapheresis and the Academy of Transfusion Medicine. Each has a different educational focus and specialized training programs that are continuously adapted to reflect evolving business priorities, economic shifts and future industry trends. The Grifols Academy of Plasmapheresis
With campuses in the U.S., in Glendale, Arizona, and Indianapolis, Indiana, and in El Cairo, it offers employees advanced training on plasma, plasmapheresis, hemoderivatives and human health. The academy has established partnerships with multiple academic institutions such as the University of Phoenix and Southern New Hampshire University to provide additional avenues for employees to continue their professional development.

The Grifols Academy of Professional Development fosters professional growth for our team members through continuous learning that aligns with our competencies and values. With campuses in the U.S. and Spain, the academy offers training and professional development programs in both classroom and virtual formats. Programs include skills and leadership development programs and onboarding for new hires. The academy also provides opportunities for employees to earn degrees and certifications to advance their careers in the biotech industry.

The Grifols Academy of Transfusion Medicine
The Grifols Academy of Transfusion Medicine is an educational initiative supporting the advancement of knowledge and best practices in the transfusion medicine field. It offers a series of video courses, live and recorded webinars and educational resources open to transfusion medicine professionals, with curricula covering a range of important topics in the discipline such as emerging pathogens, autoimmunity, donor management and diagnostic solutions.
