Established in 2009, The Grifols Academy is part of our longstanding commitment to all our employees to support their professional development and career growth. From 2014, we extended the training opportunities to external professionals in the field of diagnosis.

Through The Grifols Academy programming, we offer professional development courses, technical training, events management and other services that support Grifols values and standards.

Today, Grifols has three specialized academies: Plasmapheresis, Professional Development and Transfusion Medicine.

The Grifols Academy

The Grifols Academy of Plasmapheresis

With campuses in the U.S., in Glendale, Arizona, and Indianapolis, Indiana, and in El Cairo, it offers employees advanced training on plasma, plasmapheresis, hemoderivatives and human health. The academy has established partnerships with multiple academic institutions such as the University of Phoenix and Southern New Hampshire University to provide additional avenues for employees to continue their professional development.

The Grifols Academy of Professional Development aims to foster professional and personal growth through continuous learning aligned with the company's competencies and values, while promoting diversity and equal opportunities.

Based in Parets del Vallès (Barcelona), Spain, with training sites in California, Arizona and North Carolina in the U.S., it offers training and professional development programs for employees worldwide in both classroom and virtual formats. Programs include skills and leadership development and onboarding for new hires. This academy also provides opportunities for employees to earn degrees and certifications to advance their careers.

Based in San Marcos, Texas, U.S., it offers continuing education opportunities to professionals worldwide in transfusion medicine. It strives to support the advancement of scientific knowledge to deliver the best possible patient care.

Grifols is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) P.A.C.E.® program and the Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel.
